Dr. Georgios Tsaousis studied Biology at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (UoA) and holds a master's degree in Bioinformatics from the Department of Biology at UoA.
He completed his doctoral thesis at the Biophysics and Bioinformatics Laboratory at the Department of Biology, Section of Cell Biology and Biophysics of UoA, where he worked as a postdoctoral researcher on Bioinformatics and applied Machine Learning algorithms towards the computational analysis of biological sequences and complex biological systems.
He has published 26 papers in peer-reviewed international journals in the field of Computational Biology and Bioinformatics.
He works in Genekor M.S.A since 2015.
Athanasios Papathanassiou Bioinformatician, B.Sc, M.Sc
He graduated from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens from the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications. He holds a Master's Degree in Informatics in Medicine and Biology, at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
The scientific field of his work focuses on the genetic analysis of Hereditary Cancer Predisposition Syndromes and Rare Diseases as well as the genetic analysis of cancer in general.
